Maestro Maxim Vengerov, will be present at the Summer Master classes in the future and will preside over the selection of new students.
 
Every summer, IMMA organises a ten-day summer course, sponsored by the Fondation Simón I. Patiño, for young students of high calibre. It includes concerts, lessons and workshops and gives them the opportunity of sharing musical experiences with world-renowned artists. These studies are complemented by presentations of theory and technique.

Courses from 26 June - 4 July 2010 in Gstaad

This summer course, centred around the virtuosi of the Camerata Menuhin, is open to young musicians of all nationalities.

The course is free but students are responsible for their travel. Board and lodging arrangements are offered by the famous Rosey School in Gstaad at a very reasonable price.

Acceptance is based on playing ability and a recording (preferably on a DVD) of about 20 minutes of some different items from their repertoire and should be sent, together with the application form duly completed, a copy of their CV and a reference from a teacher (name and address included).
