Concert in Coppet

A beautiful and successful music weekend for IMMA Students with a concert in Coppet for the closing of the Mme de Staël theater festival. Vivaldi Four Seasons, four IMMA soloists: Patrick Rafter, Sofia Bergeron, Vasyl Zatsikha, Maxima Sitarz. Long long cheers from an enthusiastic public!

IMMA Concert in Istanbul with Maxim Vengerov

Terrific sold out concert at the İstanbul Müzik Festivali by Maxim Vengerov & the Menuhin Academy Soloists. Together they performed a program of Bach, Mozart & Tchaikovsky at the Menuhin Centenary concert in Istanbul, June 2016.

Another Win for IMMA at Violin Competition

IMMA’s very proud to share with you another success: Patrick Rafter won First Prize at the Concerto Competition, London Festival of Performing Arts 2016. A last minute entrant, Patrick won against soloists of all instruments to a unanimous Jury. Pictured here with Robin Page (conductor of the Purcell Orchestra and Thames Sinfonia), Nicole Kraamwinkle (violinist of the London Mozart Players) and John Human (Pianist and Chairman of the London Performing Arts Festival, Patrick has won- apart from Prize money- a series of concerts with first class English Orchestras. Bravo Patrick!

Menuhin Centenary

IMMA celebrated Menuhin’s Centenary with a full residency in Gstaad from 18 to 22 April, culminating with a free concert on his 100th Birthday. As a thank you to him and to the Saanenland who has welcomed him and supported his dear Academy for the last 40 years.
