A new term begins for IMMA students with one-week individual master classes with their Maestros Maxim Vengerov and Oleg Kaskiv in their beautiful Rosey Concert Hall.
IMMA students received the most extraordinary ‘back to school’ surprise with Cecilia Bartoli recording her new Album with Decca in their Carnal Hall at Le Rosey!! Orchestra: Giardino Armonico directed by Maestro Giovanni Antonini. Music and beauty met the best recording team: Arendt Prohman and Philip Siney for Decca and of course, Oliver Widmers. A unique experience for all and a good motivation to start the year!
The round up 2016 IMMA played a small ‘Hauskonzert’ at Jean-Pierre and Patricia Slavic, Menuhin Academy 100 Club members, in their beautiful Château de Choisi. Diana Pasko, Vasyl Zatsikha and Dor Sperber, soloists of the night. It was simply magic!
Christmas Concert with Le Rosey Orchestra ‘au grand complet’ directed by Oleg Kaskiv. A beautiful production of the Snowmen. A great collaboration between IMMA, the teachers and the young musicians of the school.
IMMA is very happy to announce that it has completed its admissions for the Academic Year 2016-2017 and has now a full Camerata: Ludovica Rana, cellist from Italy will be joining us in January. 16 students, 12 nationalities: International Menuhin Music Academy it is. Welcome Ludovica!

The second international concert IMMA gave for the Menuhin Centenary after London was at the Swiss Embassy in Paris. When introducing IMMA and Maxim to his guests at the beautiful Palais de Bésenval, Ambassador Regazzoni said: “I want to introduce to you what can be considered Swiss excellence in Music and Education internationally”. The loud cheers of the public at the end seemed to confirm his kind words.
